We are the first generation to have an incredable amount of access to photos. We take selfies, photos of our kids, photos of our pets, even photos of strangers; but we still only have a dozen photos (probably much less) printed and framed in our homes.

As photographers, we are the gaurdians of something precious. We capture memories. We stop time. More than any occupation, we have the ability to document happy moments, priceless moments.

But files can be deleted. Computers can crash. Hardrives can go corrupt. Dogs can chew USBs (seriously).

The power of print lasts. Especially in times when families need to remember the happy times. When your great grandma, grandpa or even a friend passes away, you could care less about the material things. No one is fighting over the pots and pans. Everyone is fighting over the photos and albums your loved one has kept over the years. Everyone is sad because they didn’t have as many photos with or of their loved one. These photos only become more valuable with time.

You don’t realize how precious those memories are until you need them.

Think about when your child is graduating kindergarten, grade 6, grade 8, high school or even college. At each of these milestones, your going to want have some of their photos of when they were younger presented at their graduation. You can’t just ask your child to morph back to a certain age because you didn’t document or print anything from those years.

Your love will change. Children will grow. Our memory will fade.

Digital files are meant to be a temporary method of storage. We want these memories to be cherrished, loved  and remembered. We want you to have something tangible and timeless, not only for yourself, but for generations to come.
